Overview
PS2024G is designed to build up rich, high-performance network security needs,the new generation of self-developed designs Gigabit Layer 2 Managed Switch support IEEE802.3af/at standard, maximum distance of 100 meters, only for 802.3af/at terminal equipment supply and thus do not need to worry about damaging proprietary PoE or non-PoE standard equipment. In addition, when PoE devices connected to it will not stop the power supply. Simple and reliable design, automatic identification PoE demand, speed, duplex and use AutoUplink ™ network cable type. PS2024G provided some need to simplify wireless access point (AP) and IP-based network cameras installed commercial networks,these devices away from the power outlet is ideal for hanging on the wall or ceiling height. PoE eliminates specifically for these devices to connect the power outlet trouble. So that a device connected to the AC power supply connection is more difficult flexible and minimization of installation cost. User Guide:
- Check the PoE switch
(1)Please check the enclosure,RJ45 ports,LED indicators ,sure they are ok.
(2)Connect the poe switch with power,make sure the initialization of poe switch is available as below:
POE indicator is off at the beginning when power connected
POW indicator is on and keeps
Other indicators will be on ,then off after one or two seconds
2.Connection cables:
(1)Connected the Switch to Computer or other PD( like IP camera, wireless AP) by CAT5 or 6 cables
(2)Connected the power cord to AC plug and Switch
(3)Turn on the switch
